Ms. Ramsey worked in the public and private sectors, mainly in public relations and media relations, for 18 years before becoming a teacher. She has lived and worked in Illinois, Missouri, Washington, DC, North Carolina, and Colorado. Ramsey loves books, dogs, and family. She also has a pet unicorn, but not everyone believes that.
