My name is Hannah Durchholz and I teach 6th and 7th grade Science. This is my 4th year teaching, but my first year here at MFMS. Previously, I taught Math and Science to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at a small school in Logan County. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math from Benedictine University in Springfield in May 2014. I added endorsements in ELA and Science as well later that Summer. My classroom is a place to be creative, learn, explore, and expand our understanding of the world.
I live in Decatur with my boyfriend, Nick, and our two dogs, Chassis and Holley. In my free time, I like to play the piano and harp, read all sorts of books, do anything outside, spend time with friends and family, and play with the dogs!
