Strategic Planning Team

Sign up be a part of the planning team!

Dear ALL Maroa-Forsyth Community Members,

In October 2018, we are poised to begin the critically important process of strategic planning for our school district. The result of this collaborative process will be a long-range plan that includes general themes and specific goals to be accomplished over the next three to five years. We seek 12 staff members and 12 parent/community members to join the main planning team consisting of the Board of Education and school administrators. A summary of the entire process is outlined below.

In short, the heart and soul of the planning process will be completed in just four evening meetings. The total size of the strategic planning team will be 36 members but we will also be encouraging all of our staff, parents, and community members to complete a satisfaction survey so the main team will have information from ALL to use in the planning. Once the plan is published in the December/January timeframe, it is possible we will need more volunteers to serve on implementation teams to be determined by the strategic plan.

If you are interested in serving as a representative on the main planning group, please complete the form below and email it to john.ahlemeyer@mfschool.net by Friday, September 7th. You must be willing to commit to all four scheduled meeting dates:

Our four (4) planning sessions will start on three successive Wednesdays in October ending on November 1:

October 10, 17, 24 and the last session will be Thursday, November 1st

Each session will run for three (3) hours each:

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Supper will be provided each evening beginning at 5:30 PM)

All four (4) sessions will take place at Maroa-Forsyth High School located at:

610 West Washington St., Maroa, IL 61756

The children of Maroa-Forsyth School District will be the beneficiaries of our good planning and vision! Thank you in advance for your consideration in applying to be on the strategic planning team.

Sincerely,

Dr. John Ahlemeyer, Superintendent
